I am a self-taught artist whose creative journey began as a hobby in March 2023 and quickly grew into a true passion. My love of art started with watercolours, where I enjoyed learning about colour, composition, and different painting techniques. As my confidence grew, I began exploring other mediums and discovering new ways to express my creativity.

In December 2024, my husband gifted me my first set of Faber-Castell Polychromos colour pencils, and I immediately fell in love with the medium. The depth, detail, and realism that can be achieved with coloured pencils inspired me to continue refining my technique and developing my skills with every piece I create.

My journey into pet portraiture began quite simply: with a sketchbook and a deep love for the animals in my life. What started as a passionate hobby—capturing  friends’ and family’s beloved pets—gradually grew into something more meaningful. Life took an unexpected turn when I was made redundant from my full-time office job. Rather than seeing it as a setback, I chose to see it as the perfect opportunity to take my art career to the next level and focus on what I actually love doing.

I now spend just two days a week at my day job, leaving the bulk of my time and creative energy dedicated to growing my art career and bringing your beloved pets to life!
